I am a career firefighter with the Submarine Base Fire Department in Groton, CT and have been employed there for 5 years. In the past my affiliations have been with the Noank, Poquonnock Bridge and Old Mystic Fire Departments. These departments have helped me greatly in 'learning the ropes' of the fire service which eventually landed me at the Subase. I thank the members of those departments for taking me under their wings and allowing me to ride their coat tails. Of course I have to add the following: "Any statements are of mine and mine alone and do not reflect the thoughts or opinions of my co-workers or my employer"
I hope you can enjoy my blog and check back often as hopefully new stuff will be added shortly.
