An early morning call for C-100 led the ambulance crew to this vehicle which had been involved in an MVA reportedly in the Old Saybrook area. The driver continued on and upon entering the main gate at Subase New London complained of neck and back pain. A fluid spill occured once the vehicle stopped summoning Engine 11 for speedi-dry and clean-up.


May 3, 2006: Subase Fire Department responded to Nutmeg Way in navy housing for a construction dump truck rolled on its side. Upon arrival of Subase Engine 25, which was being covered by members from Engine 11 due to live fire training, a fluid spill and one patient was found. Members were split to deal with haz-mat and patient care. No serious injuries were reported and scene was cleared after truck was uprighted.
